Edit Consolidated Exchange Rate

Hi Team,

I have a question regarding consolidated exchange rate. Understand that NetSuite calculate indirect consolidated exchange rate based on subsidiary hierarchy. For example like this screenshot

Is there a way to force the consolidated exchange rate from subsidiary A to subsidiary C to 1? Because they shared identical currency which is USD. I also understand that cannot edit this consolidated exchange rate because it was indirect rate. Can you also share the impact if I try to force the consolidated exchange rate to the figures that I wanted?

Hello @Kevin Hosea, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but @markbell10 is right. Unfortunately, there is no way to change indirect consolidated exchange rate. According to what I found on SuiteAnswers ID: 7713, "Indirect rates, also known as implied rates, between subsidiaries more than one hierarchical level removed from each other can't be edited."

This is currently logged as Enhancement 374480: Lists > Accounting > Consolidated Exchange Rates > Inline Editing = T > To be able to update indirect consolidated exchange rates.

Unfortunately, there is no alternate solution that does not involve changing the subsidiary hierarchy to make the grandchild subsidiary as the direct child subsidiary of the Parent.

You may consider submitting a support case to be attached to the enhancement.
