Restrict Visibility of Vendor Transactions List and AP Reports Based on Vendor Category
We would like to understand whether NetSuite provides a native method to restrict access to vendor transaction List and related reports based on a Vendor Category.
Business Requirement:
- Vendors are assigned to specific categories (e.g., Category A, Category B).
- Users assigned to a custom role should only be able to view vendor transactions associated with vendors in their permitted category.
- For example, if a vendor is assigned to Category A, users with a designated custom role should only be able to view the LIST of Vendor Bills, Vendor Credits, and other vendor transactions related to vendors in Category A. Same restrictions should also apply with REPORTS (AP Aging Detail, AP Aging Summary, and other Accounts Payable reports)
