In the previous article, NetSuite Next | Customizing Transaction List Views, you learned how to customize the columns displayed in a transaction list by showing, hiding, and rearranging fields using the Manage Columns panel. Once you have configured the transaction list to meet your needs, you can save the customized layout as a new list view. Instead of overwriting your existing view, NetSuite saves your customized columns, filters, sorting, and other supported list view settings as a new named list view that you can switch to whenever needed.
To save a customized transaction list view:
1. On the transaction list view page, click the More Actions > Save as new list view.
2. In the Save as new list view panel, enter a unique name in the List view name field.
3. Under Share with, select one of the following options.
4. . Click Save.
The new list view is added to the List View selector, allowing you to quickly switch between different saved views without having to reconfigure your transaction list each time. This makes it easier to maintain multiple layouts for different business processes, roles, or reporting needs.
