Duplicate Cumulative Translation Adjustment Account on Standard Trial Balance

Hi,

We are seeing an issue on the standard Trial Balance report where the Cumulative Translation Adjustment (System) account (520-00-001) is displayed twice with the same balance.

Details:

* Report: Standard Trial Balance
* Account: 520-00-001 – Cumulative Translation Adjustment (System)
* The same account appears twice with an identical amount
* This occurs on the standard report without any expected duplicate accounts

Could you please investigate why the CTA account is being displayed twice and advise whether this is a configuration issue or a product defect?

I've attached a screenshot showing the duplicate lines.

Hi @Zeen , can you confirm if there have been manual entries made that impact the CTA account?

According to SuiteAnswer 7816 | Trial Balance Report, it states that "If you have posted manual journal entries to the CTA account, a separate Cumulative Translation Adjustment account line displays the balance from manual journal entries. This line appears with other equity account type lines within the report."

There is an enhancement to have a better report layout to reflect the Cumulative Translation Adjustment account. This is currently filed under Enhancement 283085 : Reports > Financial > Trial Balance > Cumulative Translation Adjustment Account: To have a better Report Layout to display the calculated operating gain/loss from varying exchange rates and manually created balances in a less confusing view.
