Concern: A Bill transaction is not generating a Distribution Related Journal Entry. The Distribution Related Journal field remains blank.

Expected Result: A journal entry should be generated and displayed in the Distribution Related Journal field on the Bill.

Steps to Reproduce

Open a Bill transaction.
Verify that the Distribution Related Journal field is empty.

Resolution

The issue was caused by the journal generation script deployment being set for testing rather than active execution.

To regenerate the Distribution Related Journal Entry:

Navigate to Customization > Scripting > Script Deployment.
Expand the filters and select TD_MR_JournalEntryForm in the Script field.
Open the corresponding deployment.
Click Edit.
Set the deployment Status to Not Scheduled.
Save the deployment.
Execute the deployment.

Note: Optionally, specify the Bill transaction as a parameter when executing the script to limit processing and speed up the run.

Result

After the script completes and the Bill record is reloaded, the Distribution Related Journal field on the Bill should be populated with the generated journal entry.
