Currently, there are some urgent matters that we need to inquire about regarding the RFQ:
**1. Bid Open & Bid Close Date Flexibility:**
The team would like more flexibility regarding the Bid Open Date and Bid Close Date, allowing vendors to submit their responses and quotations even after the Bid Close Date, as some vendors may respond late or may not respond at all. They also asked whether it is possible to generate the Purchase Contract before reaching the Bid Close Date.
In general, regarding the Bid Open Date, Bid Close Date, and Start Date, is there any way to override the native restrictions applied by NetSuite? For example, when I try to set the Bid Open Date and Bid Close Date to the same day, NetSuite throws an error.
**2. Vendor Attachments:**
While vendors are submitting their quotations and responses, they are not able to attach supporting documents for us to review along with the quotations. They should have the ability to attach supporting documents to their responses.
**3. Requisition and RFQ Connection:**
Is there any type of connection between the native Requisition transaction and the Request for Quote that would allow us to generate an RFQ directly from a Requisition?
**4. RFQ to Purchase Order:**
Are we able to generate a Purchase Order directly from the RFQ, or does the process have to follow the flow below?
**RFQ → Purchase Contract → Purchase Order**
