I'm being asked if I can create items that can be used purely for the purpose of starting a quote negotiation.
The items are customized logos, so the team want to be able to put a generic 'tbd customized item' that they can put on a quote and then once negotiations are done they will create the actual item code.
So for this purpose, they want to have a quote item that can be put on quotes but isn't available on sales orders. Is this possible? To create an item record that can be added to quotes, but not sales orders.
