NetSuite Next provides an updated user experience for supported NetSuite users and roles. However, it is important to note that NetSuite Next is not available for External Centers.
External Centers are commonly used by users outside the organization, such as customers, partners, or vendors, depending on the account setup. Since these centers are designed for external access, users assigned to these centers should continue using the currently available NetSuite interface for their role.
What This Means for Users
If a user is assigned to an External Center role, they should not expect to see or switch to NetSuite Next from that role. This behavior is expected.
Examples of External Center roles may include:
- Customer Center
- Partner Center
- Vendor Center
- Employee Center
Internal users with supported roles may still be able to access NetSuite Next, depending on their role, account configuration, and feature availability.
Notes
This is expected behavior and does not indicate an issue with the user’s access. External Center users should continue using their available NetSuite experience.
If an internal user needs access to NetSuite Next, administrators should review whether the user has the appropriate internal role assigned. Avoid modifying shared roles without first confirming the impact on other users.
