Overview
Users who are familiar with the current NetSuite interface may use color themes to personalize their workspace or help distinguish between different roles. In NetSuite Next, changing the appearance or color scheme does not currently update the overall interface colors in the same way.
Current NetSuite
Currently, changing the color scheme only affects the avatar badge in the user menu. It does not change the main NetSuite Next interface colors.
What Users Can Expect
If users update their appearance settings and do not see the NetSuite Next interface colors change, this is expected behavior.
The color preference does not currently control the broader NetSuite Next page header, navigation, or workspace colors. Users may still see a visual change in the avatar badge, but not across the full interface.
Notes
Administrators may want to share this behavior with users who are testing or transitioning to NetSuite Next. This can help set expectations and reduce confusion when users attempt to update their appearance settings.
Since broader interface color changes are not currently available in NetSuite Next, users should rely on the available navigation, account context, and role information to confirm where they are working.
