You are receiving this notice because you use the Japan Fixed Assets Reports SuiteApp. An update to version 2.0.5 of the Japan Fixed Assets Reports SuiteApp is targeted for release on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The update will change script deployment permissions.
What’s Changing?
The update targeted for September 9, 2026, will change permissions for the following pages and corresponding scripts in version 2.0.5 of the Japan Fixed Assets Reports SuiteApp:
- DATR Depreciable Asset - customscript_datr_depreciableasset_ue.xml
- DATR Municipal Transfer - customscript_datr_municipaltransfer_ue.xml
- DATR Reporting Information - customscript_datr_reportinginfo_ue.xml
- DATR Report Request - customscript_datr_reportrequest_ue.xml
The update will make the affected pages run with the permissions of the user who accesses them, rather than Administrator role permissions.
The update will also change the default role selected in the Execute as Role field for the affected script deployments from Administrator to Current Role.
Required Actions
The changes will affect the default Accountant role and the DATR Custom role. The Administrator needs to update permissions for these roles.
- Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.
- Click the Edit or Customize link for the Accountant role or the DATR Custom role.
- On the Role page, click the Permissions subtab, and then click the Setup subtab.
- For the Accountant role, enter SuiteScript Scheduling in the Permission column, select Full in the Level column, and click Add.
For the DATR Custom role, add each permission and level, and click Add after each entry:- SuiteScript Scheduling: Full
- Reporting Preferences: Full
- DATR Reporting Year: View
- Click Save.

The Administrator should also review access for other roles and grant access to the affected script deployments only to approved roles that need it.
If you do not update these permissions after the update targeted for Wednesday, September 9, 2026, the affected roles will not have the access required to use the DATR pages.
