Sales Order to Approve to Orders to Fulfill (Missing)

I could really use some guidance. We currently use PayPal as our merchant for credit card and PayPal used for our website purchasing. That being said, I have had a few customers place orders on our website today, when I refresh on my Reminders portlet, the order(s) show as Sales Orders to Approve. Once I approve it, it disappears.  Also, it is not showing up once it is processed to Sales Order to Invoice. What it should do as it has been doing for us the past 9 years is show up as Order(s) to Fulfill in my reminders portlet
