Basic changes to the product invoice

I'm having some trouble customizing the product invoice.  The problems I'm having are

1) How do I center items in the columns on the product invoice (they're all right justified)?
2) Can I make the the column headings two lines thick.  Currently columns read Qty O.....,  I don't want the column any wider, I just want to have it on two lines so it will read
   Qty
Ordered

3) Can I add gridlines to the invoice (think excel)?
4) Can I add any color - on our old invoices we had shaded backgrounds and different text colors that customers easily identified as our invoices from others.
