Merging custom records with PDF template and sending to browser
I need to merge data (any data, some dynamic stuff, some from a customer and some from custom records) with a PDF template. I can do this with nlapiMergeTemplate (I think) but what I don't know is what to do with the result? I can see merging with HTML to send an email, but what do you do with base64 encoded PDF data?
I'm hoping there is a way to send to the browser.
To put it simply, I'd like to enable my users to perform an action (client side would be best) that would result in a merged PDF being displayed to them for printing.
