Moving a CRM contact to a new company and keeping their history
I need to move a contact to a new company but also want to keep their past employment history ie the company they are moving from in a place that is easy to reference. I acknowledge that the system notes contain the details around field changes but they aren't in a user friendly format to view.
So I was considering having a custom record called past employment history where you enter some basic details of where they previously worked so you can see the history easily.
I also don't want to break the link on any activities in their name by changing the company they work for but I don't think this is an issue from testing I've been doing.
