Field/tab to show only if another field value matches definition
I've been asked if it's possible to show, or not show, a tab based on a custom entity field attached to a customer record. The scenario is we have 2 sets of customers: hosted and non-hosted. We want to show a tab with custom entity fields ONLY if the customer record has a custom select field with a value of 'Hosted'.
My understanding is that tabs only appear once a field is attached to the tab, i.e. I can create a tab, but it will not show until a custom entity field's 'Subtab' value is set, and then the tab appear on the record defined in the fields 'Applies To' setting.
