Help with counting transactions in saved search

Hi,

This is a request for help from a newbie.

On our sales orders we have two custom fields:

"Order Entered" By in the main part, and "Upsell" on the Item lines.

The "Upsell" field filters from the list of our employees.  I am looking to do a saved search or report that gives a percentage based on the formula #of upsells/ #of orders entered.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction?  Many thanks.
