Run Scheduled Mass Updates Before Scheduled Searches?

Is there any way to get scheduled mass updates to run before scheduled searches? Currently NetSuite seems to run all of them in a pack, which results in strange behavior because some scheduled searches are based on pre-mass update data while other searches are based on post-mass update data.
