How to call external Suitelet URL through AJAX?

Hello,

When I am trying to call a Suitelet using ajax, its showing 'Success' for any internal URL.

But, its being failed for any external URL to call.

How to fix this?

And, if we can't call external URL through AJAX, then when to use AJAX calling here?
