Edit a record you don't have permissions to edit?
I'd like to be able to make a set of users edit a couple of field on sales orders but not give them general sales order edit rights. The rough workflow plan would be to give them a button to push that would put the sales order onto a form with fields except for a few of them showing as inline fields. Then place them in edit mode. The sketched in workflow works for me in my admin role but not when I''m in a role with no edit rights. Am I just out of luck?
