2009.1 - What is purpose of Item List on "Generate a Price List"?

When you display the "Generate a Price List" it shows a list of all Items, not just the Items for that Customer.

What is the purpose of this list? I find it very confusing. When I click on "Print" a different list of items is displayed.

This is very counter-intuitive.

But maybe I'm just not using it correctly.

Can anyone enlighten me?
