preventing approval of any backorders
We don't do backorders. Period. If an order goes to our warehouse, they need to be able to fill it completely, as shown. To that end, I'd like a way to be able to see backorder status on the Approve Orders page, or some other way to keep from approving orders that cannot be fully fulfilled.
NetSuite has ways to help you keep from fulfilling orders that contain backordered items (although it's still possible to fulfill orders marked "ship complete" so I'm not sure what the point of that is...) Moreover, prevention at the fulfillment step is too late. The problem happens at the order packing stage, not at the data entry stage.
