Default Status for Purchase Orders / Drop Ship PO Dates

Hello!

Is there a way to set the default status of PO's? I want them to default to Unapproved but can't figure out how.

The other issue I am having is that when an order comes in and it is 2-3 days before it gets approved and drop ship/special order PO's are created from that SO, the date on the newly created PO's aren't today's date. They are the date of the original SO. Can this be changed so that the date reflects the date it was actually created?

Any help on either issue would be appreciated. Thanks!
