We need the ability to pick SEVERAL shipping boxes for each item (not just one).  We have widgets that ship in "small widget box" or "big widget box".  "small widget box"  holds 5 or fewer widgets.   "big widget box" is larger and holds up to 10 widgets.  NS (with v2007)  allows us to create "small widget box"  and "big widget box".  It even allows us to specify how many items can go in each of those boxes.

The shortcoming is that it only allows us to set one shipping box at the item record.  We should be able to set 3 or 4 boxes for each item and NS  uses the smallest one that still has the ability to hold the number of widgets that the customer ordered.
