Free USPS Real-time Rates?

We're in the process of migrating our X-Cart based web store over to NetSuite and we'd like to know if there's any way to get free USPS shipping quotes. The USPS obviously offers free real-time rate quotes and since we have a warehouse who fulfills all of our orders, we don't need any of the other features you get with an Endicia account. Is there a way to integrate just the shipping estimates for free?

If I have to personally write some code to use the USPS shipping API web services, that's not a problem. Are there ways to integrate custom estimates from other shipping companies, like DHL?
