Zebra Printing Inconsistent

edited Nov 25, 2019 10:46AM in Accounting / ERP 4 comments

We are using Zebra GK420d printers connected via USB, on WinXP SP3 machines, Firefox as the browser, for our labels.  We primarily ship using USPS.

We have configured our .bat file per the instructions in the Netsuite help and shared the printers.  Here's what our .bat looks like.

Net use LPT2: \\%ComputerName%\Zebra
Copy %1 LPT2
Net use LPT2: /Delete

Here is the problem.

For some reason the labels only print about 60% of the time.  When it works, it works great. Netsuite creates the .EPL2 file and then Firefox uses the associated .bat to open/print the file, we see the .bat file open/run, the cmd window closes and the label prints.

Howdy, Stranger!
