Non posting integrated shipping labels

We send out free samples or decision packs to prospects interested in our manufactured product.  We want to send these out via Fedex Ground (or any fedex product, 2 day, etc). 

We cannot (or do not want) make a sales order, fulfill, bill a sample shipment because it would turn the prospect into a customer record.  (they haven't actually purchased anything).... and it would make it very difficult to see our closing rate.

However, we do want to track how many free samples go out the door for inventory purposes and marketing cost tracking.

In my perfect world, our sales reps would be able to create a quick integrated shipping label within the prospect record.
