Want to move weight field from Packages tab to main area

On the Item Fulfillment Transaction form, under the Packages tab there is a field called weight (FieldID packageweightfedex).  I want that to be in the main section of the form so that the fulfillment people do not have to click on the Packages tab every time.  I’ve moved fields around a lot, but for some reason when I try to customize the item fulfillment form, I can’t see any of the fields from the packages tab.  Therefore, I can’t move this field to the Main area.   Is there some reason I can’t see these fields to be able to move
