can only scan 40 products at a time

The Company i work for, went live with Net suite about 3 weeks ago, it was supposed to speed things up and cut down on errors in receiving and fulfilling orders, however it seems that our work load has increased exponentially, we are having to scan every product that we receive and dispatch, the problem is we can only get Net suite to accept 40 items at a time, i have a feeling the fault is at our end, but no one can give me a straight answer as to how to get Net Suite to accept the number of
