Transfer orders - partial receipt
We have a scenario where we transfer produce (using a transfer order) from one warehouse to another, and when we weigh in the produce at the destination there is often a discrepancy between what the sending warehouse thought they sent, and what the receiving warehouse sent.
e.g.
Warehouse A sends 1560kg of potatoes to warehouse B.
Warehouse B weighs the potatoes and finds that there are only 1490kg (because they lose weight over time, a carton is lost in transit, the load never arrives, or there was some other issue).
Currently we receive the goods in full, and then adjust out the difference. Is there a better way? I don't like mucking around with the fulfilment, so that's not really a good option.
