Fulfill individual pack components but hide them on sales orders etc

There are some items that we would like to sell a bundle to the end customer but when it comes to fulfilling we would like to fulfil the base components.

As far as i can see we can fulfil individual constituents if we select the "Display Components on Transactions"but this then displays them on sales orders etc, is there an option I have overlooked where components are fulfilled but not displayed?
