Sales Order - Line Item Revenue Commit
From the GUI it is possible to do the following:
Create a Sales Order with 200k units
Create Rev Rec for 1 Unit
Create Rev Rec for 1 Unit
I have been tasked with re-creating this functionality via the Web Services and have hit a wall.
The SalesOrder RecordItemList Record doesn't have revenue recognition items, while the InvoiceItemList does.
Am I missing something here?
Is it possible to commit revenue by line item inside a Sales Order, as it appears possible in the GUI?
Or, is something going on behind the scenes?
Is NetSuite moving a Sales Order with partially committed units into the Invoice Record?
