Duplicate customer PO warning....

Is there a setting that will give a warning if you enter a duplicate PO# on sales orders?  If not this would be a very beneficial thing for Netsuite to implement.  They have a warning if you enter a duplicate reference number on a bill so why not on sales orders as well.
