Lazy coding by NetSuite in LSA bundle?
I submitted this complaint to NS support about the pointless and wasteful updating by the LSA bundle of the Last Sales Activity (ID: custpage_lis_vis) field with the same value. Anyone know how to stop it from submitting unchanged customer records?
1. Provide a description of the problem or concern.
The LSA Customer Mass Update submits every inactive customer record once per day to set the value of custpage_lsa_vis. The overwhelming majority of its updates do not change the customer record. However, every time any customer record is submitted, even with no changes, its lastmodifieddate is updated.
These unnecessary customer updates have caused months of wasteful activity by scripts and external programs and are making our systems and business operations run less efficiently. These problems are continuing.
