Edit Cash Sale - Remove Item - NetSuite won't allow it

Hi,

I'm trying to edit a cash sale to remove an item that is out of stock, but NetSuite says I must first edit the deposit.  I have no idea where/how to do that.  I have searched in Transaction>Bank>Deposits and don't see anything.  

We have already refunded the cash sale to reflect the out of stock item, but can't remove it from the cash sale.  

Any ideas?
