Show Negative Amount on an Estimate/Quote

We are doing a buy back of equipment from a customer and issuing them a credit. The sales rep wanted to show -$45,000 on the estimate. You can not enter negative amounts on a transaction. We tried using a discount, but the total would only show $0.00. Has anyone found a way to show a negative total?
