Custom Item List - Separator Lines

We just added product ratings, and I am trying to finalize our item list layout (custom) which includes the reviews: http://www.remotemedical.com/wilderness-medicine-training/TESTING

The last piece is adding separator lines between products.  There is a field of for this: "bShowSeparators" which you can select in the layout - haven't been able to figure out how it can work in the custom layout.

Also tried inserting a horizontal line <HR> but to no avail since Netuite generates the item list <NLITEMLIST>, the <HR> ends up at the bottom of all the items.
