Dynamic / Dependent Item Transaction Option : How does Source From work?
Hi All,
I am attempting to show my customers an item that comes in two colors, white and blue. If the item comes in white they can choose one of five different trim colors, if the item comes in blue they can choose only two of those colors.
To this date I have solved this problem by creating two separate items, one white and one blue, and then linking them to their own trim color Item Transaction Options, or by making matrix items. For various reasons this is a sub par solution for me.
Under the tab for sourcing and filtering in the Transaction Item Option it appears that I can limit what options appear to a customer. However when I attempt to use this tab I run into some confusing problems.
