Record Access / Types
During the checkout process I noticed the customer is on the system as a Lead.
The checkout process completed and the customer is now a customer record and an associated Sales Order is created.
Whilst the customer was a lead I saw the basket contents on the Lead in the marketing tab as I recall.
Once the transaction was completed I saw the cart contents and Item Orders in the marketing tab, on the customer record. OK.
1. If I create a custom field against the Lead / Customer record I am able to add that field to the checkout process on the web side and should be able to reference it during the checkout process in my web service?
