How to do a 1:1 relationship
This may be an absolutely stupid question due to my own lack of recollection but I want to create a field on a record (A) that sources/links to another record (B) and have record B show record A is linked to it.
Now I know a parent/child list/record field will do this but the problem I have is that I want a strict 1:1 relationship. This is doable on the child record as it is a single list record that can be selected, however on the parent record, buttons for 'New' and 'Attach' allow someone to add more than a single record. Is there any way to stop this or hide these buttons? Also, if the record is already linked preventing it from linking again by another child record?
