Please note that on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 8:00 PM Pacific time, our Case Management System will undergo a scheduled maintenance for approximately 4 hours. During this time, case creation via SuiteAnswers will be unavailable and inbound calls will be routed to Customer Service.
Custom Forms for Lead/Prospect Contact & Customer Contact
It has just occurred to me we have a huge loop hole as far as access to edit customer contacts.
Our situation: We use web services to maintain all customer demographics and customer contacts from our internal processing database. Users should have "edit" rights to lead/prospect contacts but NOT CUSTOMER CONTACTS. All editing on a CUSTOMER CONTACT should be completed in our internal processing database, resulting in the NS CUSTOMER CONTACT record updated via web service.
I was able to customize three forms for the entities - lead/prospect/customer - and disable/inline the fields that should not be edited.
