I have a custom field that is of type List/Record.  Originally it was referencing a custom list.  However, I needed to convert the list to a new type of custom record.

After doing so, I noticed that by default the field sorted the selection of custom records by the custom record's internal id?  Is there any way of manually sorting them, similar to the way they were as a custom list?  Or at least sort them alphabetically?

I guess another way to state the issue is, after converting a list to custom records, I seem to have lost the ability to sort the list in a drop down field either alphabetically or using my own definition.
