Does NetSuite offer global transaction fields?

edited Dec 3, 2019 11:48AM in SuiteCloud / Customization 4 comments

I either need a "global transaction field" or else I need to expose a customer field on the item fulfillment record (provided the value can be changed from within the fulfillment).

I need a check-box on fulfillment that says "catalog needed = Yes/No".

The person packing an order can change from "Yes" to "No" after they throw in a catalog with the items being fulfilled.  Then when the customer orders a month later... the new order automatically has "catalog needed = No".

In many programs you could create a custom transaction field that = "Type=Global" and the fields value is always the same across all of that particular record type.

Howdy, Stranger!
