Trasaction Form HTML Layouts - Exceeded the length limit

Trying to update the "Body" field in a custom HTML layout but I'm running up against the field's length limit.

"You have exceeded the length limit for this field. Please shorten your entry by ___ characters."

Shortening the entry is not an option so I'm wondering if there's a way to change the length limit for this field. Any help greatly appreciated.
