Custom Field Not Able to Access Inventory Fields with Multi-Location Inventory On

We are considering using the multi-location inventory feature and have enabled it in our Sandbox account. However, this has caused several custom fields that we have set up using formulas to fail when looking for inventory.

The fields are using a formula to calculate things like available, backordered, etc. But now in Netsuite I get errors in the sandbox like "ERROR: Field 'quantityonorder' Not Found" or "ERROR: Field 'quantityonorder' Not Found".

These formulas use the fields {quantityonorder} and {quantityavailable}. Are these field names different when using the multi-location feature? Do I have to specify a location? Thanks for any help.
