Need field to show Base Price (List Price) on Invoices

I have created a List Price field, sourced from the Base Price on items.  I have added the field to the Columns section under Print Fields in the Invoice.  But, when I print the invoice that column shows up but is empty. 

Any suggestions?  I am doing this at customer request because our pricing is based on a discount off of List.   A lot of our customers have auditors that make them prove we are charging correctly, so it would make their lives easier if the List Price showed on the Invoice.
