How to bring in inventory pre-NetSuite Inventory Management
When we first setup NetSuite we set up inventory items but did not add stock as we were not ready in that area to manage. We purchased inventory and simply expensed it using NetSuite for these purchases and expense account. We also sold products and simply made journal entries to adjust for CoGS and revenue. This of course created some "backorders" against those sales.
Now we have purchased new inventory and we want to put this into NetSuite, however we don't want this getting applied to the back orders. We simply want to add this in. However we have also purchased this already and expensed and made the journal entries.
