Advanced Inventory Management - afraid to turn it on

I want to try out Advanced Inventory Management but... I want to make sure.

that

1. Just by turning the feature on, I will not loose all the manual preferred and reorder points I have entered.

2. Is it accurate to say that once I enable the feature, it will only work for items that I go to and specifically mark as auto-calculation.

3. In Other Words, will all my items by default be left as manuallly calculated for preferred and reorder points - until I go in and mark them auto calculate.

4. Does Advanced Inventory Management work with multi location.
