Commit column for kits

edited Nov 26, 2019 8:40AM in Accounting / ERP 6 comments

Hello,

We have started to use the Commit column on Sales Orders, setting those sales orders to Do Not Commit where we do not anticipate fulfilling for a while. This is all working fine and we can control the stock much easier.

However, we do have a number of Kits set up. We are not able to control the commitment of these items. This is very frustrating and is another example of NetSuite doing 90% of what we need. Has anybody else found a good workaround?

I am reluctant to tell the warehouse that they have to start using assemblies instead of kits.

Howdy, Stranger!
