Special Ordered Serialized Inventory and Assemblies -- Issues

My integration customers are experiencing major headaches caused by using serialized inventory and assemblies. Below are some of the scenarios with the corresponding NS Cases, Enhancements and Issue numbers. Please pass along any suggestions or go vote for these!!

Scenario #1: Special Ordered Serialized Inventory Item – Received Item needs to be fulfilled on different Sales Order
SO#1 - Customer A orders Item Z
SO#2 - Customer B orders Item Z
Item Z is received for Customer A on SO#1 – SN#111
Customer B needs Item Z before Customer A
Need to be able to swap out Item Z from SO#1 to SO#2
