Lot Number to Zero Alert

I am trying to set up Netsuite to send me an alert when the quantity of items within a Lot Number becomes zero.
Each of our prodcuts has a particular item code. This remains the same everytime we order the item. We allocate a new Lot Number to the item and each of these lot numbers has its own base price. I need the alert to let me know that a lot number is now at zero so that I can change the base price for the item relevant to the most current lot number.
